Inauguration of Disha Eye Hospitals at Arambagh

Disha Eye Hospitals opened its 14th Branch at Arambagh in Hooghly district on 17th November, 2019.The hospital was inaugurated by Swami Lokottarananda Maharaj Adhyksha from Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Kamarpukur.

We already have two big hospitals in Hooghly- Sheoraphuly and Mourigram. Given the number of patients we have from Hooghly district, we realized that we several patients are coming from in and around Arambagh. Disha Eye Hospitals took this opportunity and set its foot in Arambagh.

NABH Accreditation

National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) is a constituent board of Quality Council of India (QCI), set up to establish and operate accreditation programme for healthcare organizations.

NABH accreditation helps in standardizing procedures, maintaining better quality and efficiency. One of the most important benefits is that it results in high quality care and patient safety.

Patient rights are respected and protected along with defining employee rights and responsibilities to have better outcome when it comes to patient satisfaction.

This accreditation helps in giving an objective perspective of empanelment by insurance and other third parties.

Disha Eye Hospitals, has been successful in getting the accreditation for two branches i.e., Barrackpore and Ghushipara, Palta within a year of applying in 2019.

Currently, Disha Eye Hospitals is working on giving Mourigram, Durgapur accreditation and hopefully this should be achieved by the end of 2020.

Complaints and Grievance Cell

Disha Eye Hospitals has an active complaints and grievance cell in every branch. We have a complaints and grievance officer who handles the complaints and directly reports to the management. Inauguration of second building of Disha Eye Hospital, Sheoraphuly

Disha Eye Hospitals, Sheoraphuly inaugurated its second building adjacent to its old building on 19th January, 2020. The second building will be considered as the surgical wing for that branch.

The building was inaugurated by Swami Divyagunanda, Principal, Ramakrishna Mission Sikshanmandira, Belur Math in presence of Mr Arindam Guin, Chairman, Baidyabati Municipality.

With the advent of newer technology and growing demands of patients, Disha Eye Hospitals decided to expand its Sheoraphuly branch by bringing in more sophistication to patient care. We have modular operation theatre along with higher number of beds to cater more patients with better treatment and facilities.

Inauguration of Disha Eye Hospital at Berhampore

Disha Eye Hospitals opened it’s 10th hospital at Berhampore in Murshidabad district on 5th September 2015. The hospital was inaugurated by Swami Vishwamayananda Ji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, Sargachi in presence of Sri Nil Ratan Adhya, Chairman of Behrampore Municipality.

“We were receiving several requests from many of our patients residing in Berhampore district to come up with a fully equipped hospital near their locality, as we have embarked on our expansion aggressively. We understood the need of a quality eye care centre in this locality and thus decided to come up with the 10th centre of Disha Eye Hospitals here. We would be providing most of our facilities in this hospital”, said Dr Debashish Bhattacharya, Chairman & Managing Director, Disha Eye Hospital at the formal launch of the facility.
